Radio

Out of all the aspects of my working life this is the one that when people ask me what I do I respond by saying ‘I’m a Radio Presenter’.  As my biography shows I’ve picked up several awards in a short space of time and according to Rajar (the way listening figures are shown) people like listening to my programmes.  This is my passion and I encourage anyone to follow theirs.

On’t Decks

This is how it all started.  When I was 15 I began DJing at parties for friends.  This developed quite quickly into Djing at everyone in my town’s party!  I started to make the progression into bars and nightclubs at the age of 18 and can now say Ive DJ’ed all over the world in some of the greatest nightclubs on the planet.  Becoming the resident DJ at Gatecrasher was probably the highlight.  This isn’t to say that I’m a dance DJ though.  Although House Music is a love of mine, my background in doing the odd wedding states my music taste is varied.  I’ve run my own Urban nights, 80’s nights and the obvious student night.  Jack of all trades!  I just like to throw a party.

Voice Over

Always a sideline to my radio work.  I still find it amusing when my voice is on a TV advert.  I’ve done everything from being the voice of a particular TV channel to the voice of an animated character.  It’s a crazy world but thoroughly enjoyable.

Motivational Speaker

I speak at corporate events and business seminars sharing my own life experiences in the hope I can inspire.  My real work in this field is in the education sector.  Many young people suffer with confidence, mainly due to negative support networks they associate with every day.  Over the past two years I have worked with over 200 students at various schools, all of which were classed by their respective head teachers as ‘failing’ and/or totally disaffected by education.  Through a short period of mentoring in their final school year, 94% of these students went on to attain 5 or more GCSE grade passes at A*-C.  At the start of the year not one of them were supposed to!  I don’t teach any academics, I work on them as human beings.  Attitude is the key to everything.  For further information on this part of my work do not hesitate to contact me via the contact page on this site.
